The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime's music, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is that they have replicated Sublime's essence, developing a scene and dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Badfish make their mark on the audience by playing with the spirit of Sublime. They perform not as Sublime would have, or did, but as Badfish does.
Phoenix, Arizona based, Fayuca, is a Reggae-Rock/ Latino group, fronted by original, member Gabo Fayuca. Their sound shifts through genres while blending modern-reggae melodies with Latin percussion, tied seamlessly by razor guitar riffs and progressive rock breakdowns.
Their music has been featured on MTV, Univision, FOX Sports and other popular TV networks. Fayuca's instrumental, La Venganza, was hand picked by movie director Robert Rodriguez to be used as the main title theme to El Rey Network's original series, MATADOR.
Currently backed by bass player, Mario Sepulveda, trumpet player, Danny Torgersen, and drummer, Richard Duran, the quartet has become a national and international touring act. They have shared the stage with leaders in their genre like Molotov, 311, Cultura Profetica, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome, Damien Marley and many more.
While finishing high school in Tolleson, Arizona, Gabo sparked an interest for writing music and forming a bilingual-rock band. Since their first album release in 2004, Fayuca has launched four studio albums, including Barrio Sideshow, released on Fervor Records in 2013. Their songs promote Latino culture, good vibes, and self-identification. Touring insatiably between writing and recording music, Fayuca strives to inspire people around the world by spreading a message of courage, love, and empowerment.
ABOUT PERFECT BY TOMORROW--
Four young jets from the small town of Stanwood, WA. put together a diverse mix of genres and talent that gives you 'Perfect By Tomorrow'. Throughout high school, the band became popular among students and performed at school events and house parties. In 2013 they linked up with So-Cal band 'Stick Figure' and Georgia natives 'Passafire' and performed in Seattle on their Summer Hotbox Tour. This was the bands first big show.
Since then, the band has sustained a fan base in Washington State and has relased their first 8 — track, self-titled album on May 8th 2015. They find influences through bands like Sublime, Soundgarden, The Expendables, and Seedless.
In the effort of making themselves known within the local scene they are relentlessly playing live shows and connecting with their fans, also catching some radio air time on 1150 KKNW & 89.3 KUGS (Western Washington Univiersity).
ABOUT IT GETS WORSE--
We are a ska punk band originally formed in 2011 Laramie, WY but now located in Seattle, WA. We play live locally and on tour. Check our website for show dates. Our debut album is out this fall!
Shortly after forming in Laramie, Wyoming in 2011, It Gets Worse began storming venues throughout Wyoming, Colorado and Utah and wowing listeners with their unique, deconstructed ska sound. There they built a loyal fanbase while sharing the stage with many national acts and local favorites before relocating to Seattle, WA in 2014. Traveling up and down the West Coast, the band continues to bring the fun, high energy stage show they're known for to audiences. Combining trademark wild antics and a healthy dose of irreverent humor, It Gets Worse's hard hitting mix of rock and Wyoming ska is guaranteed to get any dance floor moving!
