The «Easter Sunday Breathwork Ceremony» is becoming an annual event, and I look forward to gathering with you again — in community, in communion — on April 16th to reconnect, renew, and re-inspire!
— Breathwork is one of the most powerful and profound tools available for deep work of the Self. In this ceremony, you will engage an active, deep breathing technique to enter a state of heightened awareness and non-ordinary consciousness – a place beyond the rational thinking mind in which profound insight, healing, integration, and positive life transformation can occur.
What you might experience:
-Clarity amidst confusion; profound insights regarding life decisions that are congruent with one's highest truth and expression
-Release of emotional and energetic blocks, resulting in increased vitality and the empowerment to participate in life (not be its victim)
-Creative inspiration and new ideas
-Release of grief, anxiety, and undigested emotional experiences (aka, stress!); particularly supportive during major life transitions and experiences of growth (and releasing old patterns and ways of being in the world)
-Insight and healing around family of origin influences (core traumas that influence current relationship dynamics, etc.)
-Healing of physical ailments and release of cellular toxins
-Spiritual rejuvenation and re-connection; mystical reveleations and understandings
-Core relaxation and greater capacity to flow with the river of life
The evening will include a thorough introduction to the breathwork practice, along with practices to initiate the journey (centering meditation, light movement, and/or chanting). The breathwork itself is done reclined and lasts approximately 80-minutes. A dynamic soundtrack – along with live shamanic drumming, chanting, and rattling – helps support the journey, and individual support is offered including verbal cueing, hands-on work to help release blocks, and shamanic healing work.
Breathwork is of value to anyone interested in self-realization, and no prior experience is required. As this process can be physically and emotionally demanding, it is contraindicated for those who are pregnant, have severe hypertension or cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, bipolar disorders or schizophrenia, or recent major surgeries and/or communicable diseases.
What to bring and other considerations:
-A yoga mat, blanket, and thin pillow
-Layered, comfortable clothing; body temperature can fluctuate drastically, so please wear layers and non-restrictive clothing
-Optional: Eye pillow or mask/bandana to block out light
-Breathwork is not ideal on a full belly, so please refrain from heavy meals prior
