 Facebook event page
900 E Pine, Suite 202, Seattle, Washington 98122

To celebrate Women’s History Month, AIGA Seattle’s Women Lead Initiative is presenting a five-part series of events themed Designed to Lead. Join AIGA Seattle for its fourth event, in partnership with SUBSTANTIAL, for a women's leadership panel featuring female creatives from Microsoft, Gravity Creative, Loxley Digital, Substantial and Amazon Kindle.

The evening is dedicated to discussing how women designers have impacted the digital world—and how they will continue to. We will also discover which women, creative or otherwise, inspire our panelists and how this inspiration helps them overcome their struggles. These powerhouses will talk critically on women's leadership issues and offer advice for the next generation of leaders.

Drinks and light refreshments will be provided. One raffle prize ticket is included with your event ticket purchase.

Flo Truong: Lead Designer, Substantial
Ellie Kemery: Strategist, Microsoft
Barbara combs: Graphic Designer/Owner, Gravity Creative
Amber Hahto: Creative Director, Amazon Kindle
Wacarra Yeomans: Founder, Loxley Digital

Tessa Levine-Sauerhoff: Account Director, Artefact

As with every AIGA event, this is all inclusive and welcomes people of any gender, sex, orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, ability, class and background.

This is part of the broader Women Lead Initiative which is committed to empowering women in design and advancing the vital discourse on issues facing professional women. Woman Up celebrates the achievements of women in design, cultivates awareness of gender-related issues—while building knowledge and leadership skills—and connects by facilitating relationships within and beyond the design industry.
