ASUW’s Women’s Action Commission presents Gender in STEM, an event intended to empower women and other gender minorities through the celebration of intersectional identities. Join us for an evening with keynote speakers and panelists where we will discuss the challenges faced in STEM fields and how these challenges shape our unique identities.

There will be Bay Laurel Catering provided!

TRANSPORTATION INFO

-University District Metro Bus Routes can be found here: metro.kingcounty.gov/tops/bus/neighborhoods/university_district.html

-The Central Plaza Parking Garage is the nearest available parking from the Husky Union Building
(http://washington.edu/facilities/transportation/commuterservices/parking)
There is also potential street parking surrounding the campus, on 15th Ave, University Way, and Brooklyn Ave.

-The HUB is wheelchair accessible and there will be spaces for those who need it (and their companions).

-An all-genders restroom can be found on the third floor of the HUB, as well as binary bathrooms with multiple stalls.

-The HUB is not kept scent-free but we ask that you do not wear scented/fragranced products (e.g. perfume, hair products) or essential oils to/in the HUB in order to make the space accessible to those with chemical injury or multiple chemical sensitivity.

-We will have baking soda available if folks are asked to wash off scents.
