Dig In to Topics That Affect Our World
Spend Earth Day Weekend at Curiosity Days: Dig In! to discuss scientific topics that affect our backyard and beyond. On April 21-23, join us for demonstrations, conversations, and a rich variety of hands-on interactive experiences about the earth, the environment, archaeology, and paleontology. Unearth important research taking place to protect our planet, and learn about the challenges facing our environment.
Make observations, collect data, and get to know the plants and animals in our living exhibits. Visit the Tropical Butterfly House, explore our Pollinator Garden, and discover what plants need to survive in space. Can you tell a good bug from a pest? Delve into the world of harvesting science and agriculture with outreach educators. Guests can also unearth new discoveries from the ground beneath our feet with live shows and special exhibits about archaeology and paleontology. Check out Fossil Time on the Live Science Stage to tour the fossil record and discover the earliest known living things. Experience the thrill of discovering buried artifacts by combining your visit with tickets to our world premiere exhibition of Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor.
Dig In! Science in Our Backyard is included with admission to Pacific Science Center and FREE for Members.
