Thomas Walton's work has appeared in several journals/magazines, including ZYZZYVA, Bombay Gin, Gambling the Aisle, Gold Man Review, Delmar, etc. He has a book-length, anti-lyric essay lyric essay on Gertrude Stein coming out later this year – The World Is All That Does Befall Us – from Ravenna Press. He had a few poems anthologized in Make It True; Poetry from Cascadia (Leaf Press, 2015). He is founding editor of PageBoy Magazine, the longest running literary journal on Capitol Hill.
Sam Burris is a performer, director and conceptual artist. While moonlighting as an events coordinator for Matt's in the Market, she is currently working on an original promenade piece about grief. By breathing a bit of new life into the project, she hopes to create an inter-disciplinary project looking to expand our ideas and personal understanding of grief. «The Wake», is originally conceived by a Seattle new works performance group, Living Room Project.
