Relax & Recenter: Sound Bath with Tibetan Singing Bowls
Join Kim for an evening to relax and recenter. Guided by the harmony of the Tibetan Singing Bowls, allow yourself the space to bring mind, body, and spirit together to ground your presence in peace and love.
We will begin with a brief candlelight meditation, followed by a sound bath savasana experience. What does that mean? Students will lie down on yoga mats with blankets and bolsters to get comfortable, a lovely lavendar eye pillow to relax, and an invitation to unwind while Kim plays harmonic musical patterns with the Tibetan Singing Bowls at the center of our circle. It's like a yoga nap, complete with soothing, live tunes! The sound of the Tibetan Singing Bowls releases stress, calms and clears the mind, and brings a deep sense of well-being. Students will also be treated to sound massage, experiencing the healing vibrations of the bowls on your body.
Kim is a lifelong musician with a breadth of experience, including performances from Carnegie Hall to Trinidadian folk festivals to the Great Wall of China, and many stops in between! She is humbled to bring the healing vibrations of music to Richmond Beach Yoga.
