Hui Hoaloha ʻUlana, the Hawai'i Club at the University of Washington, presents its annual spring lūʻau with the theme Hele Mai. Come and enjoy beautiful hula and Tahitian performances by our club members along with some delicious Hawaiian food. We will also be selling local snacks and items from Hawaiʻi at our Country Store.
This year, Hui Hoaloha 'Ulana is excited to partner with the UW Food Pantry, which aims to address student, staff and faculty food insecurity at the University of Washington.
Please bring non-perishable donations to the luau event on May 20th to be entered to win a number of raffle prizes, exclusive to those who donate to the UW Food Pantry. One raffle ticket will be given in gratitude for EACH non-perishable item donated. Bring as many donations as you'd like to increase your odds of winning a raffle prize at the Spring Luau.
Currently, the pantry provides non-perishable items including:
Canned fruit and vegetables
Canned chicken, tuna, and salmon
Soups and stews
Peanut or other nut butters (especially crunchy)
Shelf stable milk/alternatives (rice, soy, hemp, etc)
Cereal, pasta, and grains
