New to Yoga?
Join Instructor Jessica in an intro to yoga course created for beginners or students completely new to yoga.
We will go over basic alignment of the fundamental poses that we practice at the studio including downward dog, warrior poses, balancing poses and chaturangas.
Jessica will be offering hands on adjustments and assists to help each student feel confident, safe and strong in each pose. We will also be practicing different ways to utilize props and modifications to make the practice more accessible to all levels and all body-types.
We will discuss the benefits of yoga, the basics of yoga philosophy, pranayama (breath-work) and meditation.
This series will take place in the non-heated room and will be limited in space to ensure that each student gets individualized attention.
