Give a little of your time to give Point Defiance trails a helping hand on National Trails Day.
Meet at Owen Beach at 9 am.
Point Defiance Park volunteers will help with trail maintenance to increase safety and accessibility, including path repair and maintenance, vegetation pruning, removal of accumulated brush piles and downed limbs. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Tools, equipment, snacks, water and materials will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring their enthusiasm, smiles and energy!
On June 3, 2017, outdoor enthusiasts across the country will celebrate the 25th annual National Trails Day®, a long-standing celebration of America's magnificent trail system.
More than 2,000 events will take place around the country.
