Looking for something new and inspiring to do? Come join Dazed and Reused Artist Nancy Franklin as she teaches the Art of painting Mandala patterns on your own wooden bowl! This workshop is $25 and includes all the supplies necessary to create your own Mandala masterpieces, including a mini mandala dotting kit for you to take home with you.

The art of Mandala has been around for centuries. Many cultures believe it to increase peace and focus within one's self.

Please join us on this awesome artful journey to create your very own unique wooden bowl with beautiful designs. This class is 2 hours long and will be lengthy enough to complete 1 small wooden bowl for you to take home. You will also get to take home the skills of an art form that is so fulfilling it is downright addictive :-)

Make it for yourself, or make it for someone special.

We recommend this class for ages 12 and up. Any persons under 17 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult.

The Mandala (Sanskrit for “circle” or “completion”) has a long history and is recognized for its deep spiritual meaning and representation of wholeness.
Many people and cultures have vouched for the mandala’s intrinsic meaning. Buddhists, Tibetans, and Hindus have all derived meaning from the mandala and its captivating beauty. Psychoanalyst Carl Jung has called it “a representation of the unconscious self.” The mandala is widely recognized as a meaningful reflection of its creator. Mandala art therapy & healing can be a great source of reflection on one’s soul.
