Opening night of Seattle Center's FREE Movies at the Mural.
Experience FREE movies outdoors at Seattle Center this summer. Picnic on the gently sloping Mural Amphitheatre lawn, in front of a state-of-the-art 40-foot screen, with the Space Needle looming above.
• Movies are FREE, no admission fee
• Seating is first-come, first served
• Movies start at dusk (about 9:00 p.m.)
• Food and beverage vendors available in Seattle Center Armory and campus food carts
The Princess Bride (PG)
This beloved 1980s classic blends comedy, adventure, romance and fantasy. Follow peasant farmhand Westley as he battles three bumbling outlaws and a nefarious prince to win the hand of his one true love, a young woman named Buttercup. This Movies at the Mural popular staple comes complete with all the fencing, chasing, escapes, silly accents and rodents of unusual size you'd expect.
