It’s our tenth year of Nordic Stories, geared toward preschool-aged children and their grown-ups. Held the first Thursday of each month at 10am, Nordic Stories features children’s stories from the Nordic countries, along with fun craft projects.

September's story is set in Iceland! Enjoy HOW THE LADIES STOPPED THE WIND by Bruce McMillan.

About the book: «Why aren’t there any trees in the Icelandic countryside? This original tale will tell you why and leave you smiling at the determination of the ever-singing Icelandic ladies and their steadfast chickens.»

Cost: Free (Note: No reservations necessary, not suitable for large groups)
