Our speaker will be Quill Teal-Sullivan, Director of Historic Preservation for the Dunn Gardens. She will tell us about the Dunn Gardens, a beautiful and historic garden in Northwest Seattle, as well as provide insights on the advantages and pitfalls of managing a garden that will be open to the public.
We will also have an opportunity to view the potential site of the Cass Turnbull Memorial Park, located on the Bullitt property on Capitol Hill. Bring a picnic dish and beverage of your choice. There are a number of picnic tables on the property, but feel free to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair. We will provide picnic plates, utensils, cups and water. Please note: the property is located on Capitol Hill so parking is limited.
Meeting of Like Minds meetings are held every other month: February, April, June, August and October. Potluck, community-building, and a fun auction are all a part of the evening's festivities.
Our membership meetings are free and open to the public.
