Tlingit is an endangered language used throughout Southeast Alaska and some places in interior British Columbia. This two-day workshop will be an introduction to the Tlingit language, through the teachings of two Tlingit culture bearers from Alaska. Paul Marks and Paul Marks II will lead participants through various methods of learning, including pronunciation, phrases, and storytelling. There are no prerequisites to participating; open to ages 16 and up.
