The Issaquah History Museums invite parents and caregivers to drop in with their children for a hands-on exploration of holiday celebrations in Issaquah during the Great Depression. Participants will discuss celebrations, decorations, and what life was like in Issaquah during harder times. Kids will look at a variety of Depression-era tin can ornaments from the Museums’ collection, and use paper to create their own “tin” ornaments.
Your visit will include a vintage trolley ride with Santa Claus, who will be on hand to hear your special holiday requests. Bring your camera to capture the moment!
