Out of State — TCC Diversity Film Series

OUT OF STATE explores the idea of discovering your culture while thousands of miles from home. This documentary follows native Hawaiians sent to for-profit prisons on the mainland where they learn traditional dances, as well as their return to the islands at the end of their sentence. Join The Grand Cinema and Tacoma Community College to discover the meaning of belonging and home on the big screen.
