Uncork some of the Northwest’s finest boutique wines at Woodland Park Zoo’s after-hours, adults-only wine event, Tasting Flight presented by Delta Air Lines on Friday, July 27.
Head to the zoo’s picturesque North Meadow and create your own flight of tastings from more than 65 Northwest wineries on site. Winemakers will be on hand to answer questions and give tips to make the most of your tasting experiences. Purchase a bottle of your favorite wine or a full glass to enjoy while visiting exhibits. The evening includes food trucks, music and ambassador animal encounters. Take in some of the zoo’s exhibits, including Banyan Wilds, Northern Trail and Humboldt penguins. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the zoo’s exemplary animal care program, wildlife conservation projects in the Pacific Northwest and around the world, and extraordinary experiences that inspire and empower guests to stand up for wildlife.
As part of Woodland Park Zoo’s commitment to sustainability, including waste reduction, this is a Bring Your Own Glass event. Souvenir glasses can be purchased at the event while supplies last.
