Please join OneAmerica for a special evening as we break bread and build community with people of all faiths and backgrounds!
Ramadan is a time for inner reflection, self-control, and re-commitment to all members of our community through the act of fasting from sunrise to sunset. This holy month is observed by millions of Muslims annually. At sunset the fast is broken with a meal, also known as “iftar”. As a community, we will experience iftar, enjoy delicious food and enlightening conversation.
This community iftar is another opportunity for us stand resolute in our opposition to the policies, rhetoric, and actions by this Administration that seek to vilify and otherize the Muslim community.
We stand unified against the Muslim ban and the harmful separation of families!
