Seattle Bisexual Women's Network
presents our annual all-gender Bi Visibility Day Social!
Bi Visibility Day, also known as «International Celebrate Bisexuality Day,» has been marked each year since 1999 to highlight biphobia and to help people find the bisexual community.
This event is for the bi+ community (bisexual, pansexual, queer, multi-gender-attracted, polysexual, omnisexual, etc.). Non-bi+ partners, friends, and allies are welcome, but biphobia and bierasure will not be tolerated at this event. Also: no racism, classism, transphobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, ableism, etc.
This is a come-and-go event.
This event is trans/nonbinary friendly! Name tags will have space for your name and pronouns. **We strongly encourage pronoun pins for everyone!** Bathrooms are gender neutral, ADA compliant, and magical.
This event is all ages, although under-21 folks cannot drink beer. There is a fenced in children's play area and changing stations in the bathroom. Dogs are welcome.
-There will be a food truck on site and there are lots of to-go restaurants around on Broadway.
-You can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
-The bar serves beer and sparkling water. There is often a gluten-free cider on tap.
-You'll need your own utensils and plates.
-Bus your own table.
